Our Lighthouse is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes independence and self-reliance for visually impaired West Texas through employment opportunities in manufacturing, logistics and other administrative areas.   

 

 Who We Are  What We Do

The West Texas Lighthouse for the Blind is a manufacturing facility in San Angelo, Texas which employs people who are blind or have severely impaired vision. The Lighthouse was established in 1963 as a non-profit organization and now has over 60 team members.

At the Lighthouse, our visually-impaired employees use special tools that enable them to make our products. Our products include writing instruments such as pens, safety gear such as gloves, office supplies, and much more. Take a look at our Products to see what our employees can do.
